I think that marijuana (THC) pills are prescribed as an appetite stimulant, not pain killers. Cancer patients often develop anorexia.

This story hits close to home. My son has brain cancer and has spent many months in the hospital. Shortly before Christmas he was pretty much gone mentally. He would not eat. He could not walk. He was wasting away.

Palliative care gave him a prescription for cannabis pills.
The change in his condition is absolutely phenomenal. He eats like mad. He can now walk on his own without a walker or cane. He is mentally sharp. He has stunned the doctors.

He is back in the hospital now and can bring his pills but has to keep them in a lockbox and the nurses can’t touch them or give them to him.

They will give him all the oxy he wants, which only keeps him stoned, but they can’t give him THC pills.

More power to your son. I pray that he kicks cancer completely. I’m battling stage four cancer with a similar protocol.
