There are all sorts of elephant accidents (this not so much) when you search on Google. They back into a wall, step on a person and don’t notice, etc. This one - sorry they killed it. It was a spunky one.

We had a bunch of cows that used to escape and damage the yards of people who lived behind us. By the time I was 5 or 6 my dad used to send me out with a two by four to chase them back into our fields. These were beef cattle and all of them had horns, so the neighbors were all afraid of them. But hitting them with something was about the only way to get them moving in the right direction.
