Needed a quotation mark on both sides of the "500".
Code as you entered except FR software cleans off the <*/img> to save space:
<*img src="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D0E0QoYWoAAwDaO.jpg"WIDTH=500" />
Code it like this less the asterisk instead:
<*img src="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D0E0QoYWoAAwDaO.jpg"WIDTH="500" />
Remove asterisk gives you this:
Thanks!
Quotes around 500 don’t kill the link but are superfluous.
Sometimes Twitter seems to block images from being rendered elsewhere ... not often but seemingly sometimes. I see that Gateway Pundit nearly always does the same and sometimes Reddit does too. And, when tweets or posts elsewhere are deleted, they go away.
When I have time I will post the image to an image hosting site (simply use the same URL and the browser will first suck the image down to your device and then submit it to the hosting site) - then I use that URL. Also when I have time and there is good accompanying text, I also include an “alt” tag with the associated text - so for a trump tweet in graphic form (sometimes the best means of presentation such as when including an image itself) - I’ll post the image and then add, “alt=’TRUMP TWEET: XYZ’” - the “alt” tag contents will display if the image ever disappears and is also used by search engines for context.
NOW ... will today be a record setting “Q” post day?
