Not Cuban. Gutiérrez was born and raised in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago,
His father and mother were Puerto Rican. While Gutiérrez was in Puerto Rico, he was a member of the now-defunct Puerto Rican Socialist Party.
Maybe he's so 'upset" that a photogenic young woman is pandering all the socialist ideas he wanted to pass but didn't have the balls to push for it..
