Bishop Roger Joseph Foys of the Diocese of Covington apologized to Catholic families and the teens who were confronted by a Native American elder and then wrongly accused of racism, saying he was "bullied and pressured" into making a premature statement.

1. He probably wasn’t bullied.
2. If he WAS bullied maybe he needs to go to Amazon and order “Foxe’s Book Of Martyrs” to learn what real Christians do when faced with actual persecution. Boo frickin’ hoo. Poor baby was “bullied”.

Who is bullying all the bishops and priests that refuse to excommunicate those in their dioceses and parishes that openly support abortion?
It seems everything has a political calculation. Religious organizations included.
While us non-Catholics are trying to take back our country, I am left wondering why decent Catholics are not similarly engaged in taking back their church. There are any number of parallels here. The Catholic Church, not unlike our government, is beset with trash for leadership at all levels. This guy is only one example of many. Where are the honest Catholic Priests who sit idly by and let these miscreants take over their religion? Furthermore, where are the decent Catholic Clergy who, knowing full well, that this is going on, don’t stand up for their vows?
Sounds like the bishop needs to pray for some backbone.

Remember the teenage girl at Colombine High School that refused to deny her faith in Jesus while a gun was held to her head. She died. So please explain to us again BISHOP why you crumpled like a cheap tent in a hurricane.
Seriously? “Foys was not “bullied and pressured” by anyone into making a false, scurrilous statement”. Laura Ingraham, who is Catholic and knows this guy, said he is a mega never Trumper. I didn’t really see that he asked for forgiveness. He did apologize for being an ass. I don’t take that he is a “True Leader”, in the sense that he stuck his little pinky out in the wind and calculated that the wind was blowing in a different direction than he thought. I would say he is a leader in the mold of Congress and the rest of the politicians.
