A massive swarm of locusts plagued Mecca, Saudi Arabia, earlier this week, prompting authorities at Islams holiest site to launch a cleaning operation to remove them.
Videos posted to social media showed the insects swarming around cleaners and worshipers in the citys Grand Mosque, where millions of Muslim pilgrims congregate every year.

It’s an improvement over the Hajj.
To: C19fan
It’s even better: This is the week every Jewish congregation world-wide reads Exodus 10, the plague of locusts.

“i believe locusts are considered kosher.”
But are they Halal?
I did eat locusts once in Thailand. Wings and legs stripped off, guts squirted out and refilled with a garlic/chili paste.
Would not recommend. Took a good 3-4 beers to reset my taste buds.

Meanwhile, in Mecca, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jakob sends an old-testament message so loud only the slaves of the desert mood-god (Baal’s little brother) Al (’lah - but yeah, I presume to be informal regarding this little punk) will miss it.
I hear those go great with a little honey and a camel-hair suit.
What’s the buzz? Tell me what it’s all about...
