I don’t get why this story is newsworthy....not slamming you for the post, but the fascination over the money aspect is tawdry.

There could be a very political aspect to this.

Several National Enquirer reporters tailed Bezos’ jets, cars, hotels, for months to document this. they showed the sort of dogged pursuit of a story that the MSM no longer does.

In a great irony, the story was brought out in the same way that Bezos’ Washington Post reported on Trump’s dalliance with Stormy Daniels.

AND - David Pecker, publisher of the National Enquirer, is believed to be a long-time friend of Trump, and has assisted Trump in the past with helpful stories. Pecker has even been investigated by Mueller and his gang.

Is it possible Trump is quietly evening the score with Bezos for his his non-stop WaPo hit pieces? One can only dream....

Well, one reason is that the Washington Post isn't profitable and probably cannot be made profitable.

He owns it and runs it to satisfy his ego.

If nobody who has the money to keep it afloat desires the mouthpiece enough to shell out what it takes to keep the doors open, it will be liquidated like most other papers of yesteryear.

If there weren't no-fault divorce his wife would take enough that he would have to ditch the publisher hobby, but he will probably be able to continue as things have turned out.

Potentially could hurt the AMZN stock price, held in many mutual funds and owned by a lot of other investors, if she were to force him to sell shares. Looks like that won’t happen, though.

She will now vault into the top 10 wealthiest in the world.
