The Broncos relieved head coach Vance Joseph of his duties on Monday after two seasons on the job, and three seasons removed from the franchises third Super Bowl victory.
After losing Sunday to the Chargers, Joseph leaves Denver with an 1121 record, having been unable to revive an offense that set franchise records for passing with Peyton Manning in 2014 but has seen four different quarterbacks play meaningful snaps since his retirement a year later. Joseph endured criticism for being at times too aggressive in playcalling and down management, and not being aggressive enough, with his doubters reaching a crescendo in a December loss to the Browns in which Joseph elected to kick a field goal while down four points with four minutes left to play against the Browns.

The Game of Musical Coaches begins!.....................

You can add Todd Bowles to that list - the Jets fired him right after yesterday’s game.
How long does Elway have? Hard to fire a legend, but what has he done? (BTW, I really don’t care about NFL anymore, but this is an interesting management question)
Results matter! PC be damned.
Now that they can get hired like anyone else, they can get fired like anyone else.
Per ESPN, the Arizona Cardinals fired their coach too...

They are not hired like anyone else. The NFL mandates that teams have to consider Black/minority coaches first.
How long do this buy you from the Rooney Rule?
They have finally decided that winning is more important than affirmative action.
Bucs coach Dirk Coetter got the ax after loss to Atlanta.
They don’t call him Turd Cutter for nothing. Good riddance.
All 4 black coaches deserved to be fired.
So did a few white coaches.
Huh? WTF does that mean? Is this guy a retard or something?
Where did you get the idea they were hired different from public employment? If you meant they were treated different from the players and their contracts, you are correct because there is no union for the coaches like the NFLPA. But racial employment quotas have been around for decades.
I was stuck in one in 1973 when I tested extremely high in hydro-electrics to get hired by Southern California Edison. But because they were behind in the “quota,” I couldn’t be hired for an estimated 6 years. I went back into the military and finished my career as they don’t care what color you are for enlisting. It’s just numbers that have electricity moving between their ears.

I have read that the way things are setup in Denver, being Pat Bowlen is out of the picture with Alzheimer's, and his kids do not have control of the team yet, that only Elway can fire Elway because there is no one above him in the Broncos hierarchy.
Sounds like discrimination to me.
