President and Mrs. Obama built/has a ten foot Wall around their D.C. mansion/compound. I agree, totally necessary for their safety and security. The U.S. needs the same thing, slightly larger version!

Not completely. The wall is not around the Basilica, you can walk down the street into the square and into St. Peters although it closes at night.
There IS a wall we often see a photo of here from the back street near the museum and the living quarters and gardens. Iy looks like cement or smooth stone and about 40 feet high.
