[Between overdone CGI]

When McG inserted a “transformers” Terminator into “Terminator Salvation” and the overblown CGI you knew we were never going to get the next Terminator we wanted.

It was difficult enough making it through Terminator III.

But that ending was just a waste of everyone’s time. It’s going to lead to the biggest “Never mind!” in movie history. It risks casting the whole Marvel universe under a cloak of absurdity in which nothing matters

Apparently the reviewer has never read Marvel comic books - comic books in general specialize in "what if" story lines which get reset repeatedly.

If you're going to see a movie based on comic books, expect a script which follows standard comic book rules - I'm certain that none of the scripts for Marvel movies are the complete invention of screenwriters - all are based on actual comic book episodes.
