My mother in law lives on a small river that is only three feet deep, but goes deeper right in front of their house. I keep meaning to snorkel down there and see what the river bottom looks like. Lots of tubers and canoers there.

The TV show is probably the English show “The Detectorists”


Seasons 1 & 2 are available on Amazon Prime. Some (but not all) of season 3 is on YouTube—but may be getting pulled.

You forget that these days 'ancient' means corded phones and TV's without remotes! By current thinking that ring is pre-historic, when the world was black and white!
Note to self- find anything that looks valuable-keep mouth shut!
