Subscribe to the Chicks! Ive said it before, and Ill say it again. If you want to be vegan, be vegan. I dont care. I only care if youre the type of vegan who constantly feels the need to judge me and lecture me for eating meat and wearing leather boots. If youre in my face, Ill dial the vegan jokes to 11. (Actually, Im always in the mood for a good vegan joke. Theyre funny!)
Actually, one of my friends is a vegan, so see? Its actually possible for a meat eater and a vegan to be friends.
However, I will not tolerate nonsense like this.
Some people think we need to stop saying phrases like, bringing home the bacon and putting all your eggs in one basket, because its offensive to vegans.
I kid you not. This is an actual article in the UK Independent.
Writing for The Conversation, the researcher explains how meat-based metaphors are a popular staple of our everyday vernacular but that an increased awareness in the environmental and ethical issues surrounding meat production will undoubtedly be reflected in our language and literature and that this language may no longer be so widely accepted.
In todays reality, meat is repeatedly the subject of much socially and politically charged discussion, including about how the demand for meat is contributing to climate change and environmental degradation, she continues.

I guess that proves there is more than one way to skin a cat :D
Hell no! For what?
Ripping off some lame stuff I already saw yesterday?
Offends veggies? I go out of my way to offend them, as their mere existence offends me.
VEGANS: I AM GOING TO PUT ALL MY EGGS IN ONE BASKET IN ORDER TO BRING HOME THE BACON RIDICULING ALL OF YOU.
How could the phrase putting all your eggs in one basket offend vegans?
Are they pro-life vegans? If so I could maybe see the logic but I kind of doubt most (if any vegans) are pro-life. At least not the militant animals have as many rights as humans kind of vegans who are the subject of this editorial.
To quote Doctor Hibbert talking to Lisa Simpson, “And hillbillies prefer to be called sons of the soil, but that’s not going to happen either.”
I am certainly not vegan, but I do eat plant-based 99.99% of the time.
I find this crap nauseating. Stop being offended.
Everyone.
How long are they gonna milk this cow?
You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting some snowflake these days.
Vuck Fegans
I heard one say that eggs are aborted chickens.... sigh.
These vegans brains have suffered from their ongoing malnutrition. Likely, their ability to think, in general, as well as their ability to discriminate between lunacy and reality is severely impaired.
Spam in a can!
That’s what we all are,
Spam in a can,
Though near or far.
It’s very clear to me
We must not give in,
We’ll be spam in a can
If we let these idiots win!
Every vegan whom I have known was sickly and they looked even worse!
Before all the passenger pigeons were killed off, the only purpose of a chicken was to lay eggs be cuz folks got all the pigeon meat they ever wanted.
That crunching sound is the living vegetables crying out in pain as we munch them!
Revenge is being able to make humorous comments here on FR and never giving the blog a click. THANK YOU FR.
Cows are plant-based. I've never seen a cow eat any meat.
