Isn’t the college afraid of proesters and potential violence of this outrageous demonstration?

Aren’t they going to demand increased security fees?

New England is a target rich environment for this. After all, New England was THE hub of the slave trade industry for the entire western hemisphere from the late 18th century until 1861 when it became too politically embarrassing and was finally stopped. Prominent New Englanders from John Hancock (largest slave trader in the 13 colonies and later governor of Massachusetts) to most of the founders of Ivy League universities as well as large companies some of which still exist, got their money largely from...........slave trading.

I might’ve objected to things like the protest above and all the future moves to erase New England’s history to come, but since they were only too happy to support efforts by SJWs to erase Southern history, I will now just sit back and watch.........with a huge grin on my face.

I always thought that the cliche is that the North had nothing to do with slavery outside of ending it. We’re also somehow supposed to thank the Democrats for that last part for some unknown reason.

Back when the Democrat party was known as the “white man’s party” and supported slavery. They probably won’t mention that, though.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unitary_Democratic_Coalition

The Unitary Democratic Coalition[1] (Portuguese: CDU – Coligação Democrática Unitária, PCP–PEV) is an electoral and political coalition between the Portuguese Communist Party (Portuguese: Partido Comunista Português or PCP) and the Ecologist Party “The Greens” (Portuguese: Partido Ecologista “Os Verdes” or PEV).

On another thread, I saw a militant member of antifaaaa with a lavender bandanna and a baseball bat, he too was with “Democratic Coalition” only this one was US, not Portuguese.

Apparently it is just another term for Communist

Whatever...To be fair, one can make a legitimate argument for renaming the building. But.....Stanford University was named after Stanford who owned Chinese slaves. The City of Berkeley and thus UC Berkeley was named after another slave holder. So, I’m just saying....both sides can play politics on this issue.....or we can al just let history be history. The political left likes to stir the pot.....it can be stirred both ways is all I’m saying. R

Nuke Boston and salt the ground where it once stood.

See if that satisfies thems.

(Hint: It won’t)

New Democracy Coalition

It is interesting that the "New Democrats" want to eliminate our history so they can impose socialism.

It can't be that .00001% of the Buddhist, Shintoist, Judeo Christian population of the US supports slavery or any of its vestiges. We all know about that part of our heritage. Many of our forbears fought and lost lives to defeat slavery.

But it is part of our history, an important part of our history. It is a reminder that man, governments and mass mobs can perpetrate great evils, you know, like their heros Stalin and Mao and all the other Totalitarian dictators they worship except Hitler, whom they believe to be a right winger, mistakenly, ignoring that he was also a socialist.

Most of these ass wipes have ancestors that were slave owners. Perhaps we should track them down and force name changes. Or better yet, arrest them and decide whether they are allowed to stay in this country or not.

One of my political science teachers in college recalled when he was in college back in the early ‘70s that he was in a biology class, and the instructor needed a male volunteer to take off his shirt to describe physiology. A healthy, young black man volunteered, and after he was elevated and the teacher used his pointing stick to point out a muscle group, my teacher’s friend couldn’t hold back and shouted “I BID $50!”. Even then it was shocking, but also taken as funny. These days being thrown out of school would just have been the beginning of his problems.

I do think it would be hilarious to insert a group of pranksters to offer unexpected bids.

“Are they guaranteed to vote for Democrats?”
“Will they kneel during the national anthem?”
“Will the females kill their own babies?”
“If Republicans emancipate them, will they come crawling back to their former Democrat owners?”

From the Readers' Comments:

'The liberal media and pols were thrilled when the SJWs were targeting statutes in the south. Now that they are being eaten by the very mob they created, we need to “learn from our history” not erase it. Lol.'

To be eaten by the very mob one created is the story of violent revolutions.

It's no comfort to the wise and benevolent, but watching the so-called "journalists" of the news media jump verbally to Tucker Carlson's defense brought Robespierre to mind.

If they had studied history while in college and had actually learned from the teachings of college, instead of allowing themselves to be brainwashed and stupefied into groupthink, they might have learned the warnings of history and used this wisdom to warn the people whom they supposedly serve, but, if they were intelligent and wise enough to do that, they wouldn't be part of the propaganda machine in the first place.

Protest what is going on today in the slave trade in sub Saharan Africa and the Middle East.

The building known as the Cradle of Liberty is named after Peter Faneuil, a wealthy 18th century slave owner who financed construction as a gift to the city.

Easy. It was a gift with the name as a commemoration. Want to change the name? tear down the building.

Do not let anyone dissuade you from this powerful study of slavery. If it can happen, it will happen. Anything you can imagine, and many things you could never imagine--somebody would do, will do, and has probably done.

There are many more, but these are particularly informative.

Make no mistake: Slavery is one of the most hideous evils ever devised by man or the devil. It is alive and thriving in the world today--in the 21st century.

Americans can be proud that their nation outlawed this evil more than a century and a half ago.

In fact Western Civilization outlawed this evil. Some cultures have never outlawed or ended it.

It is true that in the first decades of the 20th century, slavery still existed in some parts of Europe. You could have bought there a man, woman, or child and done with him/her whatever you wanted... There were people who did.

This is the evil that the USA and the rest of Western Civilization outlawed and ended within their jurisdiction and as thoroughly as they could.

To fight this evil today, contact the American Anti-Slavery Group: http://www.iabolish.org I have been a member for years.

There is a dark side to human nature. To deny it is to enable it. To control it, laws have been devised. These laws, inscribed in the US Constitution, have protected Americans for many years.

It is these very laws that ended slavery, institutionalized racism, and a host of other evils in the USA.

We live either by the law or by the law of the jungle.

Today, the rule of law is under siege by the American Left.

President Trump insists that we be ruled by law. This is both wise and benevolent.

He has been attacked for this stance by the violent Left, which shows signs of invoking instead the law of the jungle.

The rule of law must prevail.

President Trump is to be praised, commended, and supported for his position and for having the courage and benevolence to stand up for the rule of law and against the dark side of human nature.

Prayer helped end slavery, institutionalized racism, and many other evils in the USA. Pray that President Trump will succeed in ending the evils that plague America today, not the least of which is contempt for truth and assault on law.
