Good coffee is not bitter. These people make the best motorcycles in the world but they know zilch about coffee.
You are right, fresh ground beans of decent varieties, like Papua New Guinea, or Tanzanian Peaberry, are very smooth and not bitter at all. Cheap coffee can be very bitter. If it needs cream it’s a lousy coffee.
I don't see Ducati mentioned in the article, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. But a good cup of cappuccino with a little tiramisu after some bolognese is almost as beautiful and satisfying as a spirited ride up a twisty mountain road on a SuperSport.
