We used to play the choking game all the time in the 40’s and 50’s.

I saw someone do it to a kid. He let go and the kid got a fractured skull when his head hit the sidewalk.

I’ve heard of that happening. I guess we had more common sense in those days...we did it on grass and helped the victim lie down gently. Never had a problem or ill after affects.
