It’s mostly younger audiences that go to the movies frequently. They flock to action and horror movies in droves. Attendance from older audiences (40 and older) is in decline though. Maybe because most movies seem geared to kids and teens.
Those movies for adults are still hanging on, but people aren’t going. I just went to one I liked last week called Bad Times at the El Royals. Of course, it bombed at the box office.
