I haven’t heard any republican politicians ask that question.
Without a body, I won’t be convinced he’s even dead. He had moved to Turkey anyway and could easily get a new identity. It would be worth it to him to disrupt SA and US relations, and help Erdogen. I’m suspicious of the timing of releasing the pastor, but I’m thankful that he was no matter the reason.
