I helped deliver both our children by natural birth. I cut the umbilical cords. Natural birth is painful to the mother.Reminds me of what a certain comedian, who is now disgraced, once said. "Natural childbirth, the mother doesn't get any drugs.....The father can get all he wants."

That is not correct. The mother can get a strong pain medication delivered directly into the spine.
