Mozilla Foundation aka Firefox has probably been suborned by Google, a major sponsor. I use Safari, but another option is “Brave”. Major advertising-tech conventional wisdom is down on Brave because they block everything by default, then require explicit opt-in on ads and then only allow non-identifying ad-tech that plays by platform rules. This results in a very fast experience since most of today’s web experience is loaded with bloated ad-tech with an excess of privacy violating content...

I’ve heard good things about brave. Will it import bookmarks from ff? And is there a decent addon to allow lots of bookmark folders on toolbar? Kinda spoiled that way lol.
