“The NY Times already floated that tax story just days before the 2016 election in an attempt to sink his election chances. Now they’re just dusting off and recycling this old “scandal”, acting as if it was a brand new breaking story.”
Well, they now have new “details”, courtesy of leaks from the Mueller investigation.
I was confident that the McCabe memos Rosenstein wear a wire leak came from Mueller. And if it was, I expected more leaks from that direction.
And now here we are !
If Rosenstein can trace these leaks back to Mueller, he is going to be in a most unforgiving mood.
I wish I had the faith in Rosenstein that you obviously do. Why, then, has he stalled and delayed giving documents that the House has asked for - after many, many months of delay? I’m convinced he’s part of the swamp. He never should have appointed a Mueller as a Special Prosecutor (or appointed one at all!) the day after he became Deputy Atty General and he did sign the 4th FISA.
