Explain yearbook.com and other sites that have shared such content and sold it for decades.

Did the school renew their copyright on tge publication? I doubt it.

Isn’t a copyright for 28 years?

Also it is for educational non-commercial purposes.

It depends if they were copying an image, the image itself can be copyrighted.

They should have got the original hard copy and shoot a video of them making the images themselves.
