I’m glad that you linked to Voat, but there are some serious growing pains there that need to be worked out. The “regulars” on Voat are PO’ed about the moderated group showing up in huge numbers, and have resorted to heavy name-calling and hate-spewing towards the former Reddit refugees. In response, the 13 moderators on the group started deleting with a heavy hand, but that goes against Voat’s standards of very open, uninhibited free speech.
Growing pains, perhaps, but it’s not a simple friendly coexistence (I hate that word too). It looks like it’s going to be very difficult for the Q proponents to assimilate there, especially when they don’t operate the same way.
In some ways, it would be a bit like if FR opened a separate section for DUmmies somewhere. I think they’re either going to have to put up with all kinds of BS, build a separate forum with strong moderation, or go elsewhere. Such is the reign of the deep state.
Voat is very much in favor of anonymity too, so you can’t just go over to the SOB’s house and slap him around for dropping F and N bombs all over you.
FWIW: I asked the Admin if they want to remove post #1 for it’s link to Voat as the comments about the language there continue to surface. I would not have asked the Admin about it if I had put a content warning up, but I didn’t know and I don’t want to blindside anyone. When I went to the voat link, I just saw humorous posts, like their “baker” or whatever they call them there saying something like, “Ok people, single file...” because they weren’t ramped up for the influx yet. I do wish them well.

The Reddit group was a lot of "normies". There were especially a lot of middle aged and older folks. These two groups from Reddit and Voat are definitely going to have to work on unity. It'll be a process.
PS v/theawakening is saucy, but v/greatawakening is downright racist and nasty.
