Actress/activist Cynthia Nixon, a socialist who wants to govern the State of New York, is honest about how she intends to do it.
“I will tax the rich to fix the subway,” Nixon tweeted on Wednesday. It’s not the first time she’s said that.
Her tweet includes a short video, explaining that she takes the subway every day; the system on which New Yorkers depend is broken; and she will do something about it.
“It’s not going to be easy,” she admits. “And it’s not going to be cheap. But we don’t have a choice.” …

The RICH pay for everything NYC anyway... I don’t recall the exact statitc, but its something absurd like 39,000 people in NYC pay something like 80- 90% of the overall income tax taken in by the city....

Excellent point. We have the same frauds here in Minnesota - especially white holier than thou liberals who live in the inner cities of Minneapolis and St Paul.
