I have family in Northwest Arkansas, Northeast Oklahoma and the southwest of Missouri. I go visit at least once a year and I cringe when a lot of them talk. They talk like this woman. It appears to be a regional dialect.
Sheana?
If she were to interface just with local customers in Northwest Arkansas, Northeast Oklahoma and southwest Missouri, she was unfairly treated.
If the customer care is nationwide, the company decision was appropriate and understandable.
Irrelevant, but interestingly, when I get a female customer rep with a southern accent on the telephone, I try to keep her on the line as long as possible. I love that accent.
