The toon about plastic straws and paper straws reminds me of a woman at Smart and Final who asked if I wanted bags. I answered yes and she proceeded to shove the groceries into the plastic bags that I the customer wanted with very little regard for packing the groceries in correctly. I put in a hot cooked chicken and she looked at me and said “really?!” as she was not going to put it in a bag at all.
A similar attitude at other stores like WalMart (whose bags are smaller).
Like I wanted the chicken to spill in the car.
Of course I want bags!
The .10 a bag is extra money to the stores and bribe money to the democrat party.
I have noticed that checkers not putting all the groceries in the bags but leaving items out. I wonder if they are told to do this?
