Next time you want an astronaut to comment on the new Space Force, why don't you try a Republican, Martha McCallum? Do you expect Gabbi Giffords’ brother-in-law to be supportive of anything Trump??

FauxNews does it again! He pronounced it just ‘POLITICAL’ after McCallum mentioned the possibility of selling swag from the Space Force. Gosh, Mr Navy Vet Kelly, can you buy stuff that has NAVY on it? I always support NAVY in the Big Game in December, but I acknowledge there are other branches of the Military.....and now we will have a new branch! I think it is a great idea as it doesn’t seem that SpaceX or any other companies are up to the task of returning us to OUR SpaceStation, with the ability to return us on an American spacecraft.

I got in the car when the interview had already started so didn't know to whom she was speaking. I was not happy with the interview---and then I heard the name of the interviewee--no wonder! Grr.

Well, each Shuttle mission cost about $1.5 billion, and still had a high failure rate. SpaceX could have done it by now, if allowed to do it on their own. But NASA is requiring safety standards that they never met themselves.

Just checked, it was the twin brother, Scott Kelly, not Gifford’s husband, Mark Kelly. They are all rabid Dems, so it doesn’t make much difference anyway.
