And walking the streets in saffron robes carrying a bowl for passersby to put food in. A bit different passage rite than young Mormons on bicycles in black suits and ties. I was on a foodie tour in Thailand earlier this year, and when we were in Chiang Mai we bought food and gave it the monks.
