SEATTLE - A Seattle woman says she came home to find homeless squatters setting up a tent in her backyard.

The home is for sale. Lisa, the owner, who asked us not to identify her or the house so it would not interfere with her sale(snip)

When she came home Monday, she found that man and another one in her backyard setting up a tent and drinking out of the hose. She said they'd spread items out on the patio and the stairs too. She said they'd even brought religious statues to put on the steps.

Lisa says she screamed and told them they were trespassing and to leave. She said one man walked up to her and told her that she was the one trespassing, claiming he owns the house.

"The delusion is what scares me. You never know what somebody's capable of when they don't have rational thought," Lisa said.

Neighbors rushed over and scared the men off, Lisa called 911. While an officer was taking a report, the men came back. Lisa thinks they came to get their belongings.

"I feel completely violated," Lisa said. "I've spent my last seven years putting my hard work and money into this house and I feel fiercely protective. But at the same time, I don't want to threaten my own safety by protecting this property."

She says the men have been back five times. Lisa had a friend stay at the house las night and he was armed.

Lisa worries they’ll be back, "Who is to say it might not happen again?"(snip)

Seattle Police took the items from the backyard and are investigating the pair for trespassing and prowling, according to the police report. Officers have been called out to the house several times.

Come on, this is Seattle. Isn't she required to build them a "tiny house"?

I’ve lived in 3rd world countries where stuff like this happens. Decent middle-class people therefore need to cultivate connections with thugs and mafia to deal with cases like this, because the police, law and courts are corrupt and couldn’t care less.

What investigation is needed? Oh, right, this is Seattle.

Only in Seattle! Rational people are leaving that place in droves, because of things like this.

"...squatters..."

The homeowner may need to plant poison ivy and thorny rose bushes on her property with a fast-growing thick bamboo perimeter.

Well, she’s not a Republican, or Big Media would have published her name and address, so it’s on her for living there.

That being said, I love to occasionally split infinitives and watch “It Happened on 5th Avenue”.

Does WA state have a Castle Doctrine? Couple of rounds of 9mm may guarantee their non-return.

She ought to know what she's talking about. Living in Seattle as she does.

Seattle (Havana on Elliot Bay) has just chosen a new police chief - she’s black and vows to never help ICE. - don’t know if she’s a lesbian, but that would be a triple bonus.

In Sicily we had to pay young Mafia thugs baksheesh to visit the Greek temples. Or they would bash in our rental car with the clubs they carried. Coming to Seattle?

If something happened to these evil people, I would have trouble convicting the homeowner no matter how inept she was.

From usacarry.com - Washington state doesn't have a specific Castle Doctrine law, but has no duty to retreat as precedent was set when the State Supreme Court found "that there is no duty to retreat when a person is assaulted in a place where he or she has a right to be."
It may be run by libtards, but Washington is "shall issue" when it comes to CCW and is also open carry. I saw an old boy packing at Walmart the other day. He also was wearing a USMC baseball cap so I figured he was okay.

Ask “Lisa” if she supports open borders or supports building a wall. If she answers yes and no respectively then “Lisa” needs to had over her property to the squatters.

Yeah, they will tie-up a detective for a year "investigating" this incident. And at the end of the year no charges.
