A thief was busted with several steaks shoved down his pants legs while making his moped getaway in the pouring rain on Monday, Nash County deputies say.
Earlier, the man stole several steaks -- worth more than $100 -- from the Nashville Walmart, according to deputies.
Keith Jordan stuffed at least nine packages of steaks down both his pants legs, the Nash County Sheriff's Office said. He then walked out of the store without paying, according to officials.
Deputies posted photos on Facebook of the seized steaks along with Jordan and his moped.
"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night (keeps) Nash County Sheriffs Office from apprehending a subject riding a moped in the pouring down rain for allegedly stuffing over a $100.00 worth of steaks down both of his pant legs and choosing not to pay on his way out the Nashville Walmart," deputies posted with the photos on Facebook.

3 or 4 steaks are worth over $100.00 at Walmart? Amazing!
No wonder he stole them!
When I was a kid working at the grocery store I caught a guy stuffing packaged ham slices down his pants.
Can you say Rock Bottom.
I thought you could.
A cop who moonlighted at a grocery store to catch shoplifters, told me he saw a very large lady stand at the meat counter, lift her dress up and attach hams to a belt and hook device she was wearing. If this guy wore really baggy pants with elastic or Velcro cuffs, he could get away with a lot of steaks. People who do this stuff figure if they can get away with it, they have a right to it. ——”Shouldn’t have been leaving all that meat lying around there, anyway.” type of attitude.
What ya lookin at? Its just a piece o meat!
Says 9 packages of steaks. Big difference.
Cop sez: “Where’s the beef?”
Ballast for the moped.
Have you been shopping anywhere for beef?
Prices are out of sight!
Appears that the packages where “Family Paks”.
The first line says “several” which is generally 3-5. Misleading article. Btw, I’d bet Walmart gets ripped off more from their own employees than it’s customers.
#1. Very carefully and slowly.
#2. The meat is not fit for man nor beast.
#3. The cop asked the thief, “Is that a steak in your pants or are you just happy to see me”?
#4. “Where’s the beef at?”
Clevon Little updated.
#5. Was the thief’s name “Meat Loaf”?
#6. Was the thief’s moped nicknamed the “Meat Mobile”?
#7. When asked about this theft. Stormy Daniels said, “Well, at least I know where the meat is located”.
No, I avoid stores like the plague. I don’t do stores well. But those I talk to say a good steak can be had for about $16.00. 5 of those would only run about 80 bucks...Those must really be some knock out family prime cuts they got going at wally world. Btw, in my world several means about 3-5.
So he had what, a total of 3-4 steaks shoved in down his pants at today’s prices? All of the people my age and older are reflexively imagining that this theiving doofus was sitting on half a cow but USDA prime steak can cost over $35 a lb. now.
LOL. Love it.
Bon appetite! How do you like your steaks, raw, medium or well done? The guy is having a special on them to raise his bail money, or as they say in the joint, “to get his meat out of this can”.
$35 a lb. for a supermarket steak?
Amazing!
