Never forget, God was not driving the car.
Where did this happen? What time of day? Was the person driving the vehicle apprehended, identified and arrested and charged? Was this a hit-and-run? Was the person an illegal alien, as is so often the case these days? Was this terrorism, a Muslim driver? Was there any official report on the incident? Good Lord.
Who says anyone is immune from negatives of reality?
Would anyone think that if anyone could claim that it would have been the 12 apostles?
How about the Son of God?
Prayers for the living dealing with this, the dead my prayers cant do anything about.
Prayers being said for your Pastor’s family for comfort through their terrible loss.

I’m sorry - I’ll include them in my prayers. I can’t even fathom what they must be going through right now. One day you have two healthy kids - the next they are gone.
How old were the children? Does your pastor and his wife have any more children or were these their only children?
I am praying! I can’t imagine the anguish of the parents, family, and friends.

I totally agree with what you said.
I think we forget as Christians that this place, earth, is not our home. We are just passing through. And the journey can get very difficult at times.
