Will the “colonization” part of the conference cover how the Muslims invaded and colonized Spain, and how the Aztecs invaded and colonized their neighbors?

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t there a war where the American colony fought the ruling government and became independent from the colony? There after immigrants came to this country to escape repression and monarchs and live free? Colonization was 300 years ago.

If you want a text book on how to do conquest and colonization right, (not morally but results wise) study how the Inca did it.
