As soon as I heard this, I told my neighbor. He has a little Maltese mix and I know he'd be devastated if Princess fell ill. Now that it's warmer weather and people take their dogs to dog parks, their doggies will be exposed to all kinds of fellow canines, which will obviously increase cross-infection possibilities.

The groomer told me that I had to get dog vaccinated for canine influenza if I wanted to bring her back in the future. I talked with her vet and he said that it is now on the required list.
I would not take her to a dog park; too protective of my girl. She still needs good bath now and then to wash out the mud.

Until the Dodgers return, nothing will be right.
