One longtime friend of the McCain family told Newsmax he long thought Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey would appoint Cindy McCain to the Senate after her husband became too ill to serve. Ahh, so the source is the McCain camp. Gaslighting. I don't believe Gov Ducey is DUMB enough to shoot himself in the foot in an election year.

It’s not like they care what anyone thinks. This is how the deep state takes care of it’s own.
Besides, Ducey will be considered a hero, after all Arizona obviously loves McCain despite being a douchebad, and they doubtless love Cindy even more.
