Wife and I visited Hawaii and the Vocano National Park some years back.
The volcano was “spitting” little streams of lava out of the cone that would run down the side and ignite little shrubs and trees.
An older lava field that had turned to gray pumice was a new neighborhood of quickly built homes or trailers.
Probably gone now.
