Well, frankly, I’m less than interested in this owl bunny trail, too.... I have lotsa different owl types on this creek acreage.. I like ‘em and don’t want to think less of them.
I have been sending the RNC some delightful notes the last few years -—only if the postage is free.
It looks like all of his recent posts were on the research board.
I don’t watch TV. Way too busy with job, church, projects. Been this way for decades.
Personally, I found some of the links he posted to be quite disconcerting. Someone put a heck of a lot of time in creating those websites. Absolutely bizarre to my mind.
In the west, besides being symbolic of wisdom, owls have been considered to be creatures of ill omen since at least Roman times.
Most owls are nocturnal hunters and can see well in the dark. Also, their feathers grow in a way which makes their flight practically silent so their prey has no warning before being taken.

I dont eat bass. Meat texture is unappealing.
Owls also have no sense of smell, so they are one of the few creatures that will prey on skunks.
Just because somebody's "retired" doesn't mean he/she can't get back into the game. Just takes a little more time (and black coffee) to get outta the sack and crank up the terminal in the morning (or whenever you think you're most productive).
That said, unless there's been a major shakeup (JMHO), NASA couldn't manage much but a bigger budget request for next year. /mega sarc

Too Qold, lately. Going this weekend. Huron river smallies. Given the right conditions, I might try to float some eggs for a steelhead.
I don’t eat it because of allergies.
I can eat shell fish & salmon but not most white fish
