Too many folks have it in their minds that Christ is a good way but that there are other good options, universalism. This book did not disspell that idea to my satisfaction.

I don't think the objective of the book was to dispel anything. It was about reconciling the existence of a Loving God with the existence of suffering. It never said 'all roads lead to God' or 'take any road you like'.

What it DID say is God/Jesus will take any road to come to you wherever you are in your journey.

Sorry I ever suggested anyone here should read the book. It won't happen again.

It is conceivable that I could suggest to an odd person out to read THE SHACK. Doubtful. Never have. But if I knew someone who desperately need a new perspective on the LOVE OF GOD, I might suggest it with strong warnings attached.
