We had a good friend with ms who was in a nursing home for 5 years. A few months before he died we were told the family (mom and sister) had to make a big decision on what will happen as far as care was concerned. His mom called me and said to prepare to say goodbye. NOTHING changed except he was reaching the 5 year and his money was gone and too much. He mom and sister were tired of it all. We were there when he died. I didn’t realize at first what they were doing. When the nurse told us he had about 2 minutes as she was giving him drugs. I was in shock. My husband was mad at me because I kept asking what they were doing. How this is legal I don’t know.
His life ended because the hospital Nazi’s would not release Alfie as if he was a prisoner on death row. Actually in a sense that’s exactly what Alfie was and they chose death for him. Not enough middle fingers to express my feelings to them.
