I’ve seen this all my life; liberals talk lofty but act devious when their own interests are at stake. The Upper West Side is loaded with limousine leftists; they probably voted 20-1 for Hillary. But when they advocate some blatantly racist step to shut off integrating their own schools, they will always couch it in language such as “I don’t have a racist bone in my body”. Instead, their mantra should be: “Do as I say but not as I do”.
DeBlasio is helping them get their minds right, and down with the struggle.
After the 25% disrupt the classrooms and degrade the educational pace, what will be next? Racially based, outcome-sensitive discipline policies? You bet.

I looked up the election results from 2016 for the Upper West Side where this school is located. Donald Trump got 6.3 percent of the vote, Hillary got 89.6 percent, just as I thought. Phony liberals. Same thing happened at Central Park East where De Blasio put a homeless shelter next to multimillion dollar condos, public hysteria by the liberals whose ox got gored.
My dream if I ever won the lottery would be to build section 8 housing in every liberal enclave in the country

PS 199 ( the school in the video ) is extremely Jewish. I’d be surprised if 20% of the kids are not Jewish. It’s essentially a private school in a ethic neighborhood. As far as local alternatives go for these parents ; they all cost $40,000/year; and are extremely selective academically.
Harlem is only a few subway stops away. It’s hilarious to watch the video. The Parents are absolutely in hysterics that Schwartzes might be mixing with their precious.

California Leftists love to pass laws. Then they dismiss the problem as solved, though generally their laws solve nothing, and devote their energies to circumventing the laws for their own benefit. An additional benefit is that the laws can be enforced selectively, to persecute those they don't like, to be ignored as they see fit.

Wealthy and yet they expect the tax payers to “educate” their kids.

When I was school age we built our own school.
Bought our own buses.
Maintained our own buses.
Hired our own teachers.
Paid for our own books.
We mopped the floors.
We picked up litter on the school grounds.
Parents prepared/paid for foods to sell at sporting events.
On and on and on.
Most of the kids were from middle class families.
Some were from lower middle class families.
