If I were Trump, I wouldn’t deny nor confirm.
Just to keep Mr’s Magoo and Peepers on their toes.

Not familiar with Mr Peepers either. There was Underdog. Then there was Mr. Peepers.

Probably...
I think they’re funny names. I don’t know much about Rosenstein, but “Mr. Magoo” seems to fit weak Sessions pretty well.

The perfect appelation for Rosenstein is Rosenweasel, because it FITS. To me, he even LOOKS like a weasel. It really galls me when Sessions swoons about what a great man RR is. To me, he’s a backstabber from the word STOP!

Interesting timing. WaPo claims Sessions said he might resign if pro-Hillary Rosenstein is canned. Trump takes the occasion to deny a much older story re Magoo and Peepers.

Maybe, but Wally was a harmless funny guy. Rosenweasel has been treacherously scheming with others to undermine and overtbrow a duly elected POTUS! IMHO.

How about Granny Clampett instead? (the difference being that Granny actually accomplished things during the day)

I remember Wally Cox as Mr. Peepers the mild-mannered science teacher. He was the voice of Underdog, and on several panel game shows of the time. Tennessee Tuxedo was Don Adams.
Just another sign of age, that I remember those things from way back.
