I was a little concerned about the Chickasaw lady and her Bush serving, in Dallas.
However, I hold hope that our new Justice knows her very well, after serving with her for 20 years.
Could it have been a rather who-you-know placement, for her, with insiders assisting in jobs for loyal conservatives?
The Bush Library, if that is where she was employed, might have been a really safe place to hold one’s resume and expertise together, while doing very little, until something comes along.
The Bush Library is a bore. Like touring any local Civic Center when it’s closed. Thinking she flattered the president and former First Lady, but rarely saw them. I have no idea.
20 years? I don’t think so!
Again, the usual is to take in top academic new law grads.
Bringing in someone mid-career, who gushes about the Bushes so is to me very suspect.
So it goes.
