Definitely felt it, but nothing fell/broke/cracked from my vantage...it depends on where the epicenter is.

Not much. I don’t feel any quake understanding a 5.

It was on the Santa Rosa Island, a part of the Channel Islands in So Cal. Right off Ventura.

5 is not insignificant, just kind of mid-level, but with the EQ building codes we have here in LA, it is doable. Plus it was off the coast. We are 50 miles inland but near the mountains and we did not feel it at all. The central basin and sedimentary fill the city is built on (downtown) transports waves farther than outcrops or bedrock.
