(please note, this article is NOT from the Onion)
Early in February, the satirical news publication The Onion published a story about Elon Musk, titled, Elon Musk Offering $1.2 Billion in Grants to Any Project That Promises to Make Him Feel Complete.
(please see the full article, at the link)
The billionaire considered buying The Onion years ago, The Daily Beast confirmed, and now a Musk-financed team is hiring the satire outlets staffers for a secret new project.
I will accept cash or a bank transfer.
What is Musk’s political persuasion?
I’m thinking he’s mostly for George Washington but seriously...
I think he’s strictly 50/50.
He is quite pro-American, but then again he has several citizenships. He was a member for a while of the Trump administration, but then resigned over something or other.
I believe he donates, supports, and works with politicians of both political parties. Completely.
Why doesnt this billionaire feel complete?
I (suspect) he may have decided having a position with the Trump administration, might have lead in some future administration to a difficult position.
Unlike so many people in the public eye, Musk seems very serious about not being political.
He was not a “member” of the Trump admin. — he was on an advisory committee of executives, very part-time and volunteer, not like being in the administration.
Musk is a looter.
A visionary perhaps, but he robs you to achieve most of his goals.
He usually finagles LOTS of taxpayer dollars for his projects, in one way or another.
He wants to teach an AI how to recognize satirical humor, and eventually how to be satirically funny - a crucial milestone in the development of AI capable of convincingly mimicking a human and having “personal” interactions.
In humans, the ability to recognize good satire correlates strongly with IQ. Meaning this is pretty advanced stuff, as you would expect from Musk.
Because it was written by the Onion........
