The owner is a good guy. Recently two employees refused to serve a policeman and they were fired immediately and then the owner apologized and offered LE free pizzas.

It really was not that crappy at first, at least at the local shop near us. A few years later the quality did decline a little, and after about six years it closed.
I ate enough of it when I was a kid. "Ordering out for pizza" was a serious treat, when we didn't have a lot of cash floating around.
I just saw that they had a lunch special - personal pizza and drink for 4 bucks. Lousy pizza or no, that's pretty hard to beat. I'd be hitting that regularly, back in my college days.
Even bad pizza is better than no pizza (or something like that...._
Poor folks have got to eat too.
Actually their five dollar cheese pizza is really good.
My wife likes them, my kids like them and I like them.
