The 60th High School Reunion
He was a widower and she a widow. They had known each other for a number of years, having been high school classmates and having attended class reunions in the past, without fail.
This 60th anniversary of their class, the widower and the widow made a foursome with two other singles. They had a wonderful evening, their spirits high, with the widower throwing admiring glances across the table . . . and the widow smiling coyly back at him.
Finally during one dance, he picked up courage to ask her, "Will you marry me?
After about 6 seconds of careful consideration, she answered, "Yes.... yes I will!"
Needless to say, the evening ended on a happy note for the widower. However, the next morning he was troubled. Did she say Yes or did she say No? He couldn't remember. Try as he would, he just could not recall. He went over-and-over the conversation of the previous evening, but his mind was blank. He remembered asking the question, but for the life of him could not recall her response.
With fear and trepidation, he picked up the phone and called her. First, he explained that he couldn't remember as well as he used to. Then he reviewed the past evening. As he gained a little more courage, he then inquired of her, "When I asked if you would marry me, did you say .Yes or did you say No? "Why you silly man, she replied, I said Yes. Yes I will! And I meant it with all my heart!" The widower was delighted. He felt his heart skip a beat. Then she continued. "And I'm so glad you called, because I couldn't remember who asked me.

I went to my 10th. Looked around and saw a bunch of people I really didn’t like 10 years ago. Never been back.

I don’t attend class reunions. I keep contact with the folks I like and avoid the ones I don’t.

Wait until their kids say,
” Dad, we’re so glad you and mom are getting together again after thirty years apart.”
“Say what?”

quit cause “all the people are old”.

If I went to one right now they would say I look exactly the same. I haven’t changed much in 41 years apparently.

A little old couple walked slowly into a McDonald’s one cold evening.
The old man placed an order for one hamburger, French fries, and a drink.
After they sat down, he unwrapped the hamburger and carefully cut it in half, placing one half in front of his wife. Then, he carefully counted the fries, divided them in two piles, before placing one pile in front of his wife.
He took a sip from the drink, and then his wife took a sip. Then, he set the cup down in between them, and finally started to take little bites out of his burger.
All the while, the other customers around them started staring and whispering.
It was clear that they thought, “That poor old couple — all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.”
As the man began to eat his fries, a young man came over to the table, and politely offered to buy them an additional meal.
But the old man grunted, and said that they were fine. “We’re used to sharing everything,” he said.
Customers who sat closer to the old lady noticed that she still hadn’t taken a bite out of her food. She just sat there, watching her husband eat.
The young man came over once more, and begged them to let him buy a meal for them.
This time, the old lady spoke. “No, thank you. we are used to sharing every single meal,” she echoed her husband.
Finally, the old man finished his half of the meal. And still, his wife hadn’t taken a single bite.
The young man came over to their table for the third time, and asked the old lady, “What is it that you are waiting for?”
Without looking up or hesitating, she answered: “The teeth.”

I didn’t bother with high school reunions. I didn’t live down to my classmates’ expectations. According to some, I died homeless. In reality I’m a VP at an engineering company.

I attended my 50th a couple of years ago. A few classmates had died and some had been very successful. Most were pretty much as I remembered.
I do recall wondering if the class beauty would show up. She was a widow and came in around half way through. Everyone was watching and I will have to admit she looked a lot better than I would have guessed anyone that old could.

I used to work for a very large company, and worked there for over ten years.
I still see some of my former co-workers in the stores and restaurants from time to time.
For the life of me, I cannot remember their names, so I just pretend to ‘not’ see them..............

Never been and no desire to go either.Never attended a HS reunion, HS was a pretty miserable experience for me. Never contacted anyone I went to school with either. To give you a hint about the student body, Rachel Maddow graduated from the same high school 12-15 years after me.
College was an entirely different thing. Been to a few reunions, I'm always up for a trip back to campus.
