Firing pin safety
And of course the trigger safety. Glock's `Safe-action' three safeties are virtually idiot-proof from half-wits, but there are a lot of complete idiots in this rich tapestry we call life.
Glock. If a round is chambered, its cocked. There is no external safety other than the so called, trigger safety...

I do not like ‘striker’ handguns; never owned one staying with Sig-Sauer.
When a round is chambered in a Glock, is the trigger pull more like a
cocked single action or a double action handgun?
Ya know - if it had been registered it wouldnt have discharged.

We also know that the weapon was not there because it was
a GUN-FREE ZONE.
Two students were shot. That was quite a feat!

can someone print a list of self-shooting guns so I can buy other models.
Well, the Colt Single Action Army 1873 became famous for its owners carrying the revolver with an empty chamber under the hammer due to its hammer resting directly on the primer of the cartridge under the hammer
During carry if the chamber under the hammer was loaded with a live round there was a real possibility of the pistol firing if jostled or the hammer inadvertently struck.
Too late. Just bought that
I guess you will be carrying a 5 shooter.
