Casting problems for “The Hunchback Of Notre Dame”? Interesting.

In elementary school I was in “Little Black Sambo”, and we had no black children in school. Talk about casting problems! I don’t recall who had the starring role, but I was a pancake.

Casting an African American as Little Black Samba would have been equally incorrect, as the story is set in India.
