Hollywood award shows have been popular platforms for political statements lately, but the messages tend to skew toward the left.
Tonight at the Grammy Awards, though, American singer Joy Villa made a very conservative statement on the red carpet.
The 31-year-old, who has released a handful of singles since 2011, wore her anti-abortion views on her sleeve — or, we should say, her dress.

What do I give a #### what religion she is if she understands life and God enough to know that a baby is a baby is a baby.

It took a Scientologist to do it.
One of the many ways God tweaks a “Christian” society. Imagine. A Scientologist is more outspoken. My mind boggleth. Maybe wherever L. Ron Hubbard is, God is permitting him a small chuckle.
Scientology has done as well as it has because its morality story is a pretty good parable of the reality that classic Christian belief knows.
Instead of getting angry at the Samaritan who did right, Christendom should “go and do likewise.” The gospel sometimes never gets a chance. I could envision millions of pro-life needlework samplers.
Fetus is an intentionally dehumanizing term.
Preborn babies are babies between conception and birth.
Someone had to find a problem. Drat and here I thought things were headed the right way.
