Taking action against the enemies of the United States is what the military does.

Your comments here have radically changed the meaning of “boogieman.”

Sorry, but the military is not tasked with domestic law enforcement, I’m afraid that is not at all a part of their Constitutional duties.

Well that’s a well reasoned and thought out argument.

You mean the military is tasked with military law enforcement?

I mean the military does not enforce criminal laws within the borders of the United States of America, except perhaps in cases of martial law.

That wasn’t an apology, it was an expression of regret that you are misinformed on the subject that you are trying to opine about.

In other words, the military enforces military laws.

To say the president enforces military matters shows I’m misinformed?

That wasn’t your original contention, now was it? This whole discussion was about your notion that someone on US soil could be declared an “enemy combatant” and that could somehow bypass the Constitutionally guaranteed judicial procedures.

That is false.

What is an act of war?

What can be labeled an act of war?

And remember, this is really good news for all of us. It means pedophiles, human traffickers, deep state members and other disgusting criminals will be brought to justice.

Right, so you think the President can just declare people “unlawful combatants” and try them in “military tribunals” without Constitutional protections... cuz an anonymous internet troll from 4chan told you so.

Sorry, but that isn’t how it works. As I said, George W. Bush tried it already and failed. It’s not going to happen, but keep dreaming I guess, if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside or something.

To understand the nature of wrongdoing, you must think big.

Abuse, or corruption leading to overthrow, of any legal system for self advancement is always wrong. There are no special exceptions for James Comey, Lois Lerner, Valerie Jarrett or Hillary Clinton.

Wrongdoing begins on the inside. This is why the concept of intent is fundamental in a court of law.

Mechanism proceeds from agency, never the other way around. So mechanism cannot fully conceal the intent of the person. Never.

There are ways to ensure our Constitution is not used against us as some sort of proverbial “suicide pact.” President Trump has organized and consolidated some of these methods.

Read the executive order from December 21st. You will find it on various official government websites. Connect the dots with the executive order from January 30th. Connect these with other relevant points from other documents.

While you’re doing this, reflect on the concept of the law of war.
