He is George Washington - with a 20th century NYC attitude.

If you understand this, you understand him. If you don't, you never will (and not understanding it will probably make it easier for him to MAGA).

Think about it - what do POTUS#1 and POTUSVSG#45 have in common?

Love of the country that gave them the opportunity to be successful.

Love of its people and a desire to free them to live their lives, and have the opportunity to succeed, as they did.

A sense of DUTY to those people, that compelled both of them to take great risks instead of simply enjoying the fruits of their previous life-long labors.

Well, that's my take. Feel free to add any other parallels that come to mind.

Washington, a born leader. He was self assured, seldom doubting himself. The major difference between the two is Washington had a personal relationship with GOD. He spoke to Him often. President Trump may have the same relationship, but doing what he thinks best and seldom speaks of his walking with GOD. Does that make him less of a Christian?

Both men had a vision. Will both see results of a steadfast USA?

Both are the men needed for the time. Thank GOD for the two of them.

I don’t think he’s like Washington, not at all.

Washington did everything like a military machine. He was conflicted by the truths of labor costs vs wealth. He was a slave owner. He understood that a developing nation needed to be built on the backs of a driven working class. Slaves.

Washington was also pretty vain - his false teeth gave him a reduced chin, which he would have edited in every portrait. Washington also let others fail before stepping up and claiming success - Which is smart, and gets you things like the Presidency. He held off on the position until the continental army was resolved (Pay and conditions) and the operation was running pretty smoothly. 8 other guys were President before he, and they all faced some pretty hard times starting a country.

Trump doesn’t let others do the heavy lifting, and he never has. He takes the reins of failing projects and either brings them to success or he sinks with the ships, regardless of what the media will tell you. He leads from the front (Which Washington did in matters of military, of course)

President Donald Trump is not like any other president. He is bringing our country back from a foothold situation, where the enemy had their hands on the controls.

The Photoshopped picture with Trump wearing a wig, is a gas. Hat tip to whoever created it.

I would love it if Trump started wearing a wig like that in public. Just to mess with the liberals.

They would go berserk trying to explain why he is more mentally unstable than they are themselves.

Multiple sources, I didn’t really say anything that isn’t mainstream.

I could go on with the notion that King George actually gave the country to Washington, as a freemason agreement and that we actually never beat England. There are hundreds of scholars who push that.

There is also a popular theory that states that Washington was crowned king of England after the defeat too.

The things I said are settled things though. He owned slaves, was one of the greatest military leaders of all time and a very intelligent man. He was also punctuated by shrewd behavior and elitist attitudes. And if you look at the time between July 4th, 1776 and the time of his presidency you’ll see that there was a TON of dirty business that had to be done. No one wanted to preside over Congress because the continental army wanted payment for their service and people were afraid they were going to be killed. Previous land owners who were friends to the king would fight a new government takeover of their, literally, birthright ownership of land in the New World.

A lot of deals were written and sealed to protect both the government and the original families that ran these lands. Look hard enough and you will find the Rodhams up there too, running lumber industries.

While there is no official connection between these Rodhams of Dutch east india and Hillary’s family - but what I’m proposing is that that history was purposely erased. If you want me to get my tin foil hat on, I have a dandy !

Its NOT photoshopped.

Its an actual cover from a late 2015 New Yorker magazine cover story in which Frank Rich (in between labeling the future president as a charlatan, conman and carnival barker) says that his candidacy is good for our democracy because it exposes the phoniness and corruption of our two-party system. [See, Rich, back then, like all the other "cognoscenti", just KNEW that Trump could NEVER, in a MILLION YEARS, actually WIN the election, so he was openly rooting for him to get the GOP nomination ... which goes into the 'be careful what you wish for' category...} *LOL*

That I also agree with. Churchill is the most similar recent world leader that the President resembles, particularly in term of his determination and fire.

Did Trump actually don a wig for the cover photo for the New Yorker in 2015?

For an article that doesn't sound favorable towards Trump, I doubt Trump would have agreed to wear a wig for the cover photo shoot.

If he didn't actually wear a wig, then the New Yorker art department Photoshopped it onto his head.

Your thoughts?
