THank you for the PSA rant. I mean the TSA rant.
But why didn’t they just use “her” or “him” as was accurate. Why no mention of gender in this article? Does that mean it was a man and they want to avoid slandering men?
I like the old days when “mankind” meant all people. “Man” was dual-purpose, both gender-specific and non-specific. Then you could say “he” and cover both a man and a woman. “Miss” and “Mrs.” were nice, too. Women were accorded respect like that and men never got it.
Things were so much easier for centuries before everybody became all hissy over things like that.
